Emma Williams is an expert by experience with an interest in depression, self-harm, and suicide prevention. Emma participates in public patient involvement (PPI) for the University of York and is a member of England’s National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) steering group, and a member of the NSPA lived experience network. Formerly a Chartered Civil Engineer, Emma currently devotes her professional life to a mental health anti-stigma project. Outside of her professional life, Emma enjoys participating in sports and spending time in the great outdoors.
