Jennifer is a Specialist Registrar in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in Dublin, currently working at St Vincent’s University Hospital. She graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2014 and worked in Intensive Care in New Zealand before then returning to Galway to begin specialist training in anaesthesia. She was conferred as a member of the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland in 2018 as well as a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2019.Jennifer became involved with the Cochrane trainee group in 2019. Her previous research has examined preoperative anaemia in the West of Ireland and its association with postoperative morbidity. She has also has a keen interest in obstetric anaesthesia and has been involved in has been involved in researching staff attitudes towards suitable staffing of the new Obstetric High Dependency Unit in the relocation of National Maternity Hospital to the St Vincent’s Hospital site.
