Evidently Advent Day 11: best health evidence wrapped up for the festive season!

Warm up for next year’s symposium with this picture quiz

Dublin symposium guess who

There are no Cochrane reviews to link today. Instead, to celebrate the opening of the Cochrane UK & Ireland 2015 symposium website, we’re featuring a special game to get you in the mood. We’ll be gathering in Dublin this time, so present you with a picture quiz to test you on your knowledge of sixteen faces from the island of Ireland, some of which you may find familiar…

Visit dublin2015.cochrane.org to register and book for the symposium. Discounted earlybird tickets are available until February 10th 2015. Limited tickets are also available for the gala dinner, to be held at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

This year’s symposium theme is ‘advocating for evidence’, and the scheduled talks and workshops will explore this issue in a variety of ways. Workshop proposals are currently being accepted, and further details will be announced a little later on. Check the website for the latest news.

The student competition is also now open to submissions. This year we’re asking applicants to assemble a fictional press pack for one of three notable Cochrane reviews from the last year. The authors of the best three submissions will win tickets to the symposium, travel costs, accommodation for one night, and amazon gift certificates.

We very much look forward to seeing you!
