Dr Ippokratis Sarris is a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and the Director of King’s Fertility, an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London, an Honorary Consultant at King’s College Hospital, and the HFEA Person Responsible for the unit. As such, he oversees the centre’s clinical, research, educational, and regulatory activities. Ippokratis graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge in 1999 after which he completed his medical degree at Oxford’s Magdalen College. He completed his specialty training at several London teaching hospitals and subsequently moved to Newcastle to complete his subspecialty training in reproductive medicine and surgery. He completed his own DM degree in Oxford, on Quality Control of Ultrasound Imaging. Ippokratis has authored several peer-reviewed publications, two textbooks and a number of book chapters. He mentors trainee doctors through the King’s Fertility research fellowship programme along with acting as a supervisor for their MD/PhD degrees at King’s College London.
