Big thanks to all of you who’ve supported our entry into the UK Blog Awards 2015 – we’re delighted that Evidently Cochrane is one of ten finalists for the Health Company blog award. It’s now over to the industry judges, Kath Evans @kathevans2, Head of Patient Experience at NHS England, and Dinh Tu, Social Media Consultant at @BupaUK.
Whatever the Outcomes are measures of health (for example quality of life, pain, blood sugar levels) that can be used to assess the effectiveness and safety of a treatment or other intervention (for example a drug, surgery, or exercise). In research, the outcomes considered most important are ‘primary outcomes’ and those considered less important are ‘secondary outcomes’., it’s great to know that people like the blog, but we want to make it even better. To that end, do let us know if there are health topics you’d like to see covered, or if you would like to share your health stories and expertise as a patient or professional.
You might like to keep up with the blog by signing up for our newsletter and we’d love to hear from you through the comments boxes or on Twitter, where you can reach us @ukcochranecentr and @SarahChapman30
